The Business Plan for Midwest Holding Inc.

We are proud to announce that American Life & Security Corporation (ALSC), a wholly-owned life insurance subsidiary of Midwest Holding Inc., received its Certificate of Authority from the Nebraska Department of Insurance on September 1, 2009. ALSC was the first Nebraska Company to be formed in over three decades.

During this phase of growth, management’s plans include the writing of approximately $13,000,000 of annualized life insurance premium over the next five years. This premium will be written on Nebraska residents thus keeping premium dollars in Nebraska. Also, ALSC has begun to expand its Charter to do business in additional states through mergers and acquisitions. We will continuously recruit, hire and train new life insurance agents so we can meet our new business production goals and build into one of the largest and most profitable companies.

We are also introducing Mark Oliver, CEO of ALSC. He brings more than 28 years experience in the life insurance industry, the past ten as president of a New York Stock Exchange listed life insurance holding company.
